Sanchez looked good throwing tonight. Fastball was 90-91 and the hit he gave up would have been caught if reyes was playing shortstop. I heard Gary Cohen state what I had said on this blog earlier in spring training that sanchez before the injury threw 95 miles an hour. Hopefully his arm will get stronger as he continues to throw during the season. It appears the only thing left is the mets want to see him able to throw multiple nights in a row which appears he can't do yet.

I would have to say this is our starting lineup on opening day except maybe the catchers position depending on Schneider's and Castro's hammy situation.

As close to opening day as we've seen. Perhaps sometime in the next few days we'll see our opening day lineup for the first time.
