Actually Santana was 89-90, and when he had 2 strikes on a hitter he would hit 92 on the black. He only hit 88 once, and it may have been to throw off the timing of the hitter.

Heard Eddie Coleman on the fan say the Santana’s velocity is improving in each start. Not so sure that they really let it out in spring training until the end. Not so sure that they don’t either.

I wonder if Santana is losing his velocity like pedro did around the same age.

How bout ElDuqe. Anybody want to take a crack at the runs scored against him for Sunday?

I asked the question about Santana’s velocity. He was around 91 most of the time.

JDelcos, any whisper about this? He has not hit 93-95 this spring. Is he just takin it easy or has he lost some as was reported late last yr.

It seems that they really like Register and leaving Snachez down to increase his arm str gives them a chance to keep him.

What happens to Register once Sanchez is ready; we will have to see.
