Delgado said hip is sound

Carlos Delgado said his right hip is feeling significantly better. “It was the right thing to do,’’ he said about taking the injection.
However, he wasn’t pleased when asked for the second straight day whether he’ll need another.
“You don’t fool around with injections,’’ he said.
Although it is spring training, Delgado still wants to show some numbers. “You want to get your hits,’’ he said. “Hits will come when you start getting your timing.’‘
