Beltran: “Today was a good day.”

March
14

Carlos Beltran was given the DH/CF option again today and chose the field.

Beltran tested his knees with a first-inning double (he went to third on an error) and when he had to plant, turn and throw in the outfield.

“It felt a little wierd, but it was good,” Beltran said about his home-to-third sprint.

“The knees are a little sore, but I’ll be fine. I am not worried.”

Beltran could rest tomorrow, but said it depends on how he feels in the morning.

Sounds like he will be fine.

Problem, if there was one, solved.

good to hear, sounds like Beltran is building up strength and confidence in his knees quite nicely. I think this could bode very well for him this season.
