Leaving the park soon and I’m starving. In the mood for a slice of pizza, but it’s almost impossible to get one. The ballpark concessions have it, but Domino’s and Pizza Hut don’t count. One of the pleasures I miss about home. There are a few places that boast “real NY pizza.’’
It isn’t.

John-
That’s life in the South! I spent eight years in Florida and Va Beach on active duty in the Navy, pizza was terrible.
Great to be back in NY!
Any updates on Sanchez or Church? I think they’re key pieces – especially with all the injuries flying around…
John – Pizza was ‘invented’ in Connecticut at Pepe’s in Wooster Square in New Haven. Even Cheshire has five Italian restaurants – No Domino’s or Pizza Huts, either.
I work in midtown and I can find no NY Pizza here. The best is passable but I do not go back because they are mostly terrible around here.
John – You mean the Big Apple Pizza does not have “real NY pizza?” Amazing, simply amazing.
