no need for Pagan, we have the BLBB in left today. JD – The real question is what happened to Ramon? Lennon had him in the linup as did Cerrone.

It’s just on mlb.com, I think. You aren’t missing anything. These STL announcers are horrible. I think they hit the Budweiser buffet for breakfast.
i had to live in stl for nine months. it was awful. the baseball announcers are horrendous. half the time you have no idea what’s going on in the game. they also don’t tell you what pitch was thrown or where it was located. it’s just “ball one,” etc. it was awful.
looks like Pelfrey was ok. He walked 2 in the first, made an error that led to a run and gave up a hit to the pitcher that scored another. so-so I guess.
game update, Willie just executed a correct double switch pulling Pelfrey with two outs in the bottom of the 5th.
LaRussa would not be upstaged by Willie, he employed the double switch in the top of the 6th.
whats next, pitch outs and squeeze plays?
