“This is the best I’ve felt since the accident,’’ – Duaner Sanchez on his right shoulder. That’s a positive comment. I said at the start of spring training Sanchez was a key issue and that still holds.

I don’t know if he’ll be ready for Opening Day like he says, but keep a good thought.

Just watched replay of game. Sanchez had less command of his fastball than last time out but he seemed to be more free and easy w/his delivery. His change looks great. He reached 90 on the gun several times. Not worried about velocity. Like to see him in back-to-back games before it is decided if he is ready.

I don’t know. He still seems awfully fragile. When he can pitch in back to back games then we will see. If he continues to take a week between games…
