60: Pitches Orlando Hernandez threw in a simulated game today. He said his next outing could be against major league hitters, and he was talking three or four innings. Five days from now is March 17, which is when Oliver Perez is next scheduled.
There is also the off-day on March 18, so they could slot Hernandez in then.

I am glad he is positive. Now he needs to get on the field.
The 18th is also Pelfrey’s day to throw again, so an intersquad minor league game with the two of them pitching against each other should make for a reasonably competitive scrimage.
