Sanchez sharp

Duaner Sanchez looked good today, giving up a walk and fanning one in one inning vs. Marlins.
When asked how close he felt, Sanchez said: “I want to say 100 percent, but I’m not crazy. … I was 97 percent of what you saw in ’06.’’
Sanchez doesn’t know when he’ll pitch again, saying there is no set schedule.

I thought Sanchez’s changeup looked good, but his arm speed seemed very slow. There wasn’t much behind that fastball.
I wish Pelfrey had Sanchez’s confidence. Coaches read those comments that Pelfrey made, they won’t take it as a good sign.
If that was 97% of 06, than either the gun at Shea is really fast or the gun at Tradition is really slow.
hey scoopcoop are u refering to the gun on TV? but cause that had to be waaay off all day. Pelfrey was in the low 80’s on that gun and we know he can bring it
It seems that gun down at Tradition is always way low. I know it is early, but some of Pelfrey’s pitches were low 80’s and Sanchez’s were in the 70’s.
Anyway, I hope Pelfrey just needed to stretch out his arm and that was the issue today.
he popped a couple fastballs that read low 80’s on the TV gun. the one he struck out that guy on looked good, best pitch hes thrown since the Killer Kab (sounds like a metal band)
