looked to me like Pelfrey did not have command of his fastball, but his slider was pretty good. Then in the third he ran out of gas.

He kept licking his hands, I wonder if that wind had an effect on him.

Its Groundhog day for Pelfrey… Just started a little sooner this year.
Schoeneweis was just avery bad sign… He just sucks…

If Show is on this team, he better only pitch to that one lefty in the 6th inning. He can’t get rigthties out.
I thought Pelfrey jsut ran out of gas.

How come Pelfrey has one good start and you’re already proclaiming its over for him?
Talk about no room for error.

I just said in my sarcastic way that he looked like last year…. and so did he. any disagreements about Schoeneweis?

show can only get lefties out. Hope that Willie only uses him as lefty 3.5 MM specialist.
Give Pelfrey a break even if he won’t for himself.

Schoeneweis isn’t good enough to deserve a nickname. He’s the Mel Rojas of the early 21st Century. As for Pelfrey, he can show if he’s made any progress next time. Last year once he went down hill it took until September to pitch another good game.
