March

“That won’t happen,” he said.

He won’t come up as a bench player… so did he leave the door open for him to come up and play?

Sloppy: I think we’ll see Martinez this season. Just not to sit on the bench while Alou heals.-JD

Good. Too early. He is not ready.

    Well, duh.

If he gets playing time in September of NEXT year, they’re rushing him.

If FMart comes up I hope it is b/c he is playing like a Man among boys in AA/AAA not b/c there is nobody else due to injuries.

Agreed, unless he really obliterates AAA. We have to remember that he lost a lot of last season with his injury, so he still needs to spend a full season in AA, at the least. If he rocks AA and moves up to AAA, it is possible to see him next year. Which would be fine, since this would indicate that he is a very special player.

He probably comes up after the rosters expand.
