Postcard from Florida: Black skies

There aren’t many things blacker or more threatening than the Florida skies before they open up with rain and wind. They knew this was coming. Omar Minaya said this afternoon that the forecast wasn’t good.
It rained for about a half hour then stopped. Even so, these fields don’t drain that well. Once they put the tarp on there was no way they’d play.
