PODCAST: Santana pleased with start

March
5

“I’m right where I need to be,” Johan Santana said after this afternoon’s three-inning outing against Los Angeles. One run on two hits with four strikeouts was his line.

Santana said there’s more work to do, but it’s only his second start so that’s to be expected considering he says this “is a progression.”

Listen to his post-game press conference.

JD, is Sanchez scheduled to pitch today?

Eddie Coleman said don't expect Sanchez to be on the team to start the year. He said no way will he be ready, and the team would be nuts to try top rush him.

  3. Taylor

    He's coming along.
