Among the highlights from Willie Randolph’s post-game briefing:

-What about the kids? Randolph talked about Angel Pagan, Ruben Tejada and Dan Murphy. “I like watching the young kids. That’s a fun part of spring training,’’ he said. Well, he didn’t have much choice considering the injuries.

On John Maine:  “He threw the ball well. He’s maturing.‘’

On Matt Wise’s change-up: “He might have as good a change-up as anybody on the team, including (Johan) Santana.’‘

On what he likes about Angel Pagan: “His total athleticism.’‘
