I am surprised considering the past 2 seasons
Haha, believe me, my brother has tried to convert me a few times. It just won’t take. I do root fairly heavily for the Giants though, since everyone in my family and my girlfriend are Giants’ fans, but it was a long week before the NFC Championship this year.
I don’t know what to tell you. Ever since I was a little kid I liked Green Bay. I liked Sterling Sharpe, Brett Favre, and their history. I even own a piece of the team. One of the biggest thrills of my life was going to the first game in Ford Field and watching Brett lead Green Bay to a victory in the Lions’ new stadium.
I still remember staying up late, playing with bunny rabbit ears, trying to get a good signal during Monday night games, since it was one of the few times I would get to watch him play. Next year sure is going to be different.
Keith: Did they let you watch the game with them? My kids’ fiance’s brothers are Pat fans and they watched in a different county from us!!!
Well, I live in Queens now (I’m from Staten Island) so I watched the game with my girlfriend.
