John Maine makes his second start today. He’s scheduled for three innings.

Still out are Carlos Beltran, Ryan Church, Luis Castillo and Marlon Anderson.

We’ll get CT scan results from Ruben Gotay.

JD, Willie is quoted as saying he is not sure when Easely or Chavez will be ready to go.

But I have not seen anything about Castillo or Beltran. Any word on their condition? Running the bases, fielding?

I saw it written somewhere yesterday that Beltran and Castillo were supposed to start running the bases.

at least the Mets are taking big league pitchers to these road games. Wise, Feliciano, and Sosa should see action today.

I wonder if we'll see Sosa get a 2nd inning, let him build innings to be a starting candidate…
