Pedro throws BP

March
3

Watching Pedro Martinez throw batting practice. He’s animated, which is always a positive sign.

It looks as if we won’t see Orlando Hernandez throw today.

Another bad sign from ElDuque. I hope Pelfrey takes this opportunity. ElDuque will no one to blame except his old body.

according the Metsblog Duque did do a bullpen of some sort today. simulated throwing with a towel involved…

should we look for Vargas today instead? he hasnt pitched the last five days…

I’m really encouraged by Pelfrey. He’s saying all the right things and really came to camp ready to force the issue where there didn’t seem to be one.
