As the Mets PR staff was clearing out the clubhouse, Pedro Martinez yelled: “Johan is about to put on a show out there!!!”
Martinez was in a good mood this morning.
“I’m always happy when I’m healthy,” Martinez said. “I’m a happy camper.”
Martinez said he felt “great,” after throwing batting practice this morning.
Orlando Hernandez, meanwhile, threw a 25-pitch batting practice and said he’s not feeling it.
“It’s not good, yet,” Hernandez said. “I don’t feel 100 percent. My mechanics don’t feel good.”

Do Mets have to pay elduque $$ if he does not make it out of camp? Tired of this guy already.
Yes, this isn't football…..
Probably so. I believe this is the last year of his guaranteed contract.
maybe it will be El Duque that starts the season in NOLA or remains behind in Florida, with Pelfrey starting the season in the bigs.
El Duque belongs in the pen, carry 11 pitchers instead of 12, makes the bench stronger.
