with Santana going tomorrow, he lines up to go again on March 5th, so it makes sense for Pedro to be going on March 6th. This lines them up to start the first two games of the year on turn.

I guess Oliver Perez will slot in 3rd as that is currently Jason Vargas' day, with Pelfrey/Duque and then Maine lined up after that. With the off day after the first three in florida it makes sense to have Maine in the 5th spot, he'll get the 4th game.

A huge year? If huge is 12 wins, I agree w/statement.

If huge is 18 wins, I think you need to rethink and think with your brain not your heart.

I understand being cautious and not wanting to get our hopes up too high about Pedro but you have to admit that this may be a huge year from him. Remember he came back at the end of last year. His shoulder has had the whole offseason to heal even more and it was already good enough at the end of last year. Add to that that Pedro is simply one of the best to ever pitch and you may be looking at a huge year.
