Dude has all the tools except for the ability to stay focused for seven straight innings unless it is a playoff-type situation.

Which is more than good enough for the #4 man in your rotation, definitely, but if he wants to be more than that... yeah.

Could it honestly be some kind of medical problem, ameliorated by ADD or ADHD drugs?

I'm not being flip, I'm genuinely asking here... modern medicine ain't a bad thing, lots of really good and talented people out there in all kinds of field have legitimate medical issues with focus.</description>
