Highlights from Willie Randolph’s press briefing this afternoon:
-Said he was pleased with how Duaner Sanchez threw in his first game in a year-and-a-half following a dislocated shoulder. “It looks like he’s on the way back.’’
-Called pitcher Jonathan Niese a “cool customer,’’ for his composure on the mound. Niese struck out one in a perfect inning.
-Brian Schneider and David Wright played as a DH for the two teams, but will be in the field tomorrow against the University of Michigan.
