Sanchez pitches out of trouble

You could tell there would be rust for Duaner Sanchez, who hadn’t pitched in a year-and-a-half after injuring his shoulder in a car accident in July of 2006.
Sanchez gave up a bloop to Ramon Castro and a bleeder to Brian Schneider, but struck out Fernando Martinez and Brahaim Maldonado to get out of the 26-pitch inning without giving up a run.
He threw a lot of pitches which was to be expected. But he threw a sharp change to punch out Martinez.

JD- How did sanchez’s fastball look? If I remember correctly he used to throw around 96 miles per hour. It sounds though that he still has his off speed stuff which is a good sign.
sounds like command was the issue. He is rusty.
aslong as the speed and movement are there, the command will come.
