Perez, Mets still talking

The Mets are still talking with agent Scott Boras in hope of avoiding tomorrow’s arbitration hearing for Oliver Perez.

The sides are nearly $2 million apart.

Assistant GM John Ricco said a settlement could be reached today, but didn’t sound optimistic.

    It would be a win win if they could compromise, but with Boras it ain’t gonna happen.
