2 million: Tickets the Mets have already sold for this year in full-season and partial-season ticket packages.
The Mets drew 3,853,949 last year, and should break 4 million in their final year at Shea Stadium. Individual game tickets go on sale March 9.

Are the Wilpons thinking “maybe we could have raised ticket prices even more”?
I’m sure glad they made the new place a lot smaller so we all can’t go to games anymore! That’s ok all the richfolk will be comfy in their super boxes.
