Lo Duca comes clean

Paul Lo Duca, now with the Washington Nationals, has come clean with using PEDs.
“You do something wrong in your life and you get away with it, you still have something inside you that burns,” Lo Duca said. “And, um, it’s been a big relief for me to know that I’ve come to grips with it. That I made a mistake.”
Omar Minaya said the Mets went after Brian Schneider based on his defense, but I can’t help but wondering if they didn’t have an inkling of this.

What fascinates me about this entire cluster-eff with LoDuca is that…
He was instrumental in trying to run Milledge off the team and, when he finally succeeded, the only team that'd sign his injured 'roiding remains was the team that the Mets discarded Milledge to for a platoon outfielder and a back-up catcher.
To be frank, I hope Lastings cracks Paul in his washed-up drugged-out jaw somewhere quietly behind the scenes because Paulie's part of the reason why we have to pretend that Church and the Schnide are full-time major league hitters.
Blah.
Even the Santana trade hasn't gotten the bad taste out of my mouth from junking Milledge for a pair of boots and a sandwich… because of the veterans and the press hating a confident young black player for being himself.
Disgusting.
AFAIK, Lo Duca had nothing to do with Milledge's departure. Sounds like a far-fetched theory as zany as the one that had Leiter and Franco engineering Kazmir's departure.
I expect Schneider to have a decent year with the bat—a little better than what he and Lo Duca did last year—and a good year on defense. I think Church will put up better numbers in right than what Milledge, Green, and Nady did there in recent years. Am not worried about either of them. I'm more worried about Delgado, Alou, and El Duque because of injury risks and where they are in their careers.
