Granted the Mets scored a bunch of runs yesterday but that really hasn’t been the problem. If they were losing 1-0 2-0 3-0 it would be a different story. Good Pitching wins games. Is Glavin bringing his A game today? Can he go 6 or 7 innings and not give up more then 2 or 3 runs?????? The Mets didn’t use their key relievers yesterday so they are rested. I like the Mets chances.

Anytime the Mets play a team as young and inexperienced as Florida we should feel confident. The questions are, will Florida play to their age or their potential? Will Willis pitch as he has, or as he can? Will the brouhaha yesterday incite the Marlins or the Mets? These are the things that worry me, because I believe the potential of the Marlins players is better than most in baseball, and if they play to that level and the Mets play as they have, we could be in for a rough afternoon.
