So far, so good, Carlos Delgado is saying about taking live BP. The hope is he’ll be able to play this weekend at Florida.
Delgado said he’d like three or four games before the playoffs begin to sharpen his stroke.
Hope it matters!
uh huh. he will do what he did before swing it slow and double ut. Then realize he has to put effort into it and get injured again. I hope they platoon him with Green. Instead of giving him the start, treat him the way every other player has been treated.
Did he really say “before the playoffs”?
I mean, jeez.
Mike C.: What would you like Carlos to say? He should be positive.
I would rather Carlos sit out and get healthy for next year. The next injury may be it. 3’s the charm and it would be a shame. he’s still young enough fr a few more years.
in the words of jim mora,” PLAYOFFS?!!”
Look what happens when he doesnt play – it not that hes hitting 225 its how he effects the pitchers game plan because of his potentail….. beltran gets more fastballs becasue their trying to get the out before delgado and alou gets meatballs because of the let down whether its a big hit or strikeout
ed: i have to disagree. with his slump. Pitchers have been throwing delgado differently.
not as intimidated.
Steve C.: You WOULD disagree wouldn’t you? :-p Dont worry Ed, you are spot on.
