 
-Carlos Delgado is taking soft-toss BP and hit in the cage. He hasn’t been cleared yet to take live BP, but that could come today. It doesn’t look as if he’ll play in this series.
-No word yet on a suspension for Marlon Anderson from his meltdown over the weekend. He’ll get one.
-Oliver Perez was watching a documentary on earthquakes. No, it was not a video of him pitching.

I didn’t catch the experience since the game was blacked out by FOX and I live in Miami….did he bump the umpire or throw things?
Ejections aren’t always met with suspensions.
Wish MLB would be tougher on their umpires…they have rabbit ears and soft skin and look for trouble….Cowboy Joe West is the perfect example…follows players back…listens….he’s just looking for an excuse.
Some of these umps would make perfect cops after the season.

give ollie a break he was 3-13 with 6+ era last year.
now, he has 14 wins and is #8 in the nl in era. that’s a nice turn around.

JD, i thought the comment itself was quite funny about ollie.
oddly, i have more confidence in perez in a big games than against a team like the nationals or pirates. he seems more focused (i.e. against braves, yanks this year; playoffs last year) though he didn’t confirm that view against the phils this weekend.
i guess he’s a good reflection of the team. who know what will happen on any given day. i’ll take these guys in the playoffs though.
