The Phillies are like that cartoon character, Wiley Coyote who’s always chasing the roadrunner. He never gives up, sometimes he comes close, but he never catches his prey.The Phils always seem to find a way to blow it near the end. I’m not worried about them for the playoffs but it would certainly be nice to put the finishing touches on them this weekend.
John – As I recall the NY members of the BBWA get to vote on only one category in the MVP awards etc. If my memory is correct, which category do you have this year?
I’m baffled by batting Conine 6th but… other than that, I digski.
