Tarp on at Shea. There’s a steady drizzle. They say they’ll play, but they always do until the cancel. I’m expecting a game tonight.-JD
John, do you know what is planned for tonight’s pregame due to it being September 11th? Anything at all?
Do the Mets have any thought of holding back El Duque and his sore foot for one more day due to the wet conditions tonight? Why would they risk it?
Mets web site says they will wear NYFD, NYPD etc caps tonite.
They will play even if they force fans to sit there for a three hour delay.
Dan has it right. They’ll play. Right now the tarp is off and they are preparing the field. It’s funny, it’s been raining and they still water the field before the game.-JD
