No hitting outside. Players drifting in an out to the cages. Tom Glavine was around, so he held court about his future.
He insists he is undecided, and the determing factor is whether he still has the enjoyment of playing.
“I won 300 games, and if we win the World Series, and I am pitching well, that would be the epitome of going out on top,” Glavine said. “If we don’t win the World Series, there would be little bit of that tug to take care of unfinished business.”
GM Omar Minaya said both sides will probably talk before the end of the season. Minaya believes Glavine could be effective for another season. He said he wants to resolve this before the Winter Meetings.
