    Wright is playing again???

    Willie…What the heck?

  2. Justin

He doesn’t look tired to me.. he’ll prob sit tomorrow and be ready for the philly/atlanta series

  3. Andrew V.

He’s still hitting and doing everything he needs to do, but let him take some time off, and save those big at bats for Philly/Atlanta and the playoffs.

  4. Rirruto

It’s not a big deal. He looked great last night, who knows, he might get tomorrow off. And we DID have an off day on Thursday.

  5. Jeff

We have to face two formidable pitchers today and tomorrow….but we need these two games. I can’t see the Marlins sweeping the Phillies so we have to keep the pressure on.
I’m in Miami so I can’t get the game today. Fox has the afternoon blocked out for those with MLB’s Extra Innings….
I can catch the pre game and post game show on SNY but the game is blacked out down here.

    Jeff,
    That sucks.

I think that something needs to be done about the blackout system. It’s a bit overbearing.

Glad to see Milledge in there. And what was that blur flying to 1B in a Mets unee in the 8th last night? Oh, right…Gomez is back.

  8. JR

I’m in the same boat Jeff. I live near Philly so I watch the games on MLB Extra Innings, and will get blacked out. I also have DirecTV and not cable (Comcast), so since Comcast Sportsnet broadcasts the Phillies and doesn’t participate in Extra Innings I can’t see any Phillies games down here. Not that that’s such a loss mind you ;) but when the Mets are playing the Phillies I have to cross my fingers and hope they show up on ESPN.

  9. JR

I like this line up, but I think it would be better if Lastings hit 7th, and Loduca 8th. Paulie just looks like the best #8 hitter right now, and it might help Milledge see a few better pitches.

Of course that would go against the veteran vs. young guy rule, which always superceeds logic in Willies gut!

Not really a big deal though, just something IMO that would make the lineup flow better.

Well, this MLB.TV blackout certainly sucks. At least they give you the option of listening to WFAN. JR, you’re right about Milledge before Lo D.

fox paid big $$ to shaft fans. Saturday they own until 7 PM. Screw us they say. I only watch their “screw us” games when they have the Mets on. Screw them.
