Tonight’s Line-up/Wright is playing

September
7

I’m tired of guessing with Willie Randolph. David Wright is playing. If you believe a team takes after its manager, then that’s the case with the Mets and Willie. You never know with him from one day to the next.

Here’s the line-up:

METS

SS Jose Reyes
2B Luis Castillo
3B David Wright
CF Carlos Beltran
LF Moises Alou
1B Jeff Conine
C Paul Lo Duca
RF Lastings Milledge
P Mike Pelfrey

Well I was pretty close! Green lifetime vs Rodriguez is 2 for 9 with a homer and an RBI. Conine is 1 for 13 against Rodriguez with 0 homers and an RBI. Actually the only player in the lineup with success against Wandy is Carlos Beltran who is 3 for 8 with 2 doubles.

JD: Maybe David told Randolph that yesterday was a quiet day for him and he feels rested and wants to play.
Really thought, like you, that Wright would get tonight so he and Reyes both had two days off before the big September push.

Why the whining about Wright playing. He wasn’t slumping like Jose…..

So if Gomez came off the DL, who went on 60-day or DFA?
