Heads they’ll play, tails they won’t? Don’t know yet on Carlos Delgado, who has an aching knee, and Ramon Castro, who has a sore back. Both are hopeful of playing today, but it wouldn’t be surprising if either, or both, sat another day.
Doesn’t it seem like the Mets always have more guys on the active roster that can’t actually play than other teams do? Or do we just not pay attention to them?
I think it is that we know our team to the 25th man. I could not name a single 25th person on any team.
