Our paper has a working relationship with a RNN, a local cable outlet. I’ll be on regularly to talk about the Mets. I was on the other day and spoke of the need to beat up on the weak teams in the NL, which they obviously did not do over the weekend.
Have a listen.

Alou would have to have one helluva finish for them to pen him for next year, but I think that if he finishes strong like bull and stays [somewhat] healthy, then he’d definitely be a fearsome asset.
I don’t care how hot Alou gets down the stretch. Bringing him back next year will be a big mistake. I can’t jump up and down over Alou right now just because he’s getting some important hits. He was pretty much absent for most of the year and now it’s too late to salvage his season in my eyes. He’s going to end up with about 40 RBIs for the entire season and that doesn’t cut it for a corner outfielder.
