“Ramon Castro”:http://sports.espn.go.cohttp://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6325 will get treatment on his sore back today. The hope is it will loosen up in time for tomorrow night’s game at Pittsburgh. Mike DiFelice will probably start.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see Sandy Alomar Jr., in Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
No question, this will be a position of concern in the off-season. The Mets’ feelings about Castro are, 1) he’s good for short spurts, but gets exposed over the long haul, and 2) he doesn’t necessarily always put the work in to stay in shape, and 3) he’s 31 and the preference would be someone younger.
