The Mets said not to worry if Pedro Martinez’s second rehab start were to be pushed back a day. Such advance warning pretty much guaranteed it would be. He’s going Tuesday instead of Monday.
The Mets are also saying Marlon Anderson will come off the bereavement list Tuesday.

Will he be pitching for St. Lucie?
To DT: Yes. They will move him to a higher level later in the rehab, but that figures to be closer to when he’s ready to return.-JD
I’m glad they told us not to worry. Mets nation would have gone sleepless otherwise.
