By no means is this request have anything to do with the Mets losing two or three games to Atlanta.
This is to ask your help for a story I am working on that would be better with input from my readers. I know I have a lot of bloggers from all over, but this story is local and I am asking for readers from Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties in New York.
Believe it or not, there’s a company that produces funeral urns and caskets with MLB team logos. That’s the Mets urn above.
My questions, addressed to passionate fans, are:
1) As a fan are you offended or intrigued by this?
2) Is this something you would consider?
3) Do you have any family or friends who were buried with team jerseys, caps or memorabilia?
If you’re not from those three NY counties, I’d love for you to post your thoughts and comments here. If you are from Westchester, Putnam or Rockland Counties, and you’d like to help please respond to my email address: email@example.com. If you want to talk, leave a contact number.
Or you can email the answers. I WILL need your full name. I can’t use your comments in the paper without a full name. Your answers will be in the paper and not on the blog.
As always, many thanks
