I think it was more of the 9 XBHits from the Braves than anything else. Ya ain’t gettin a W after serving up that kinda smorgasbord. (But the Mets not getting a hit after the 5th inning didn’t help much either).
Also, I wonder how that Matt Murphy handles a bat? He might just be the sure-handed right fielder the Mets are looking for. His catch last night was so spectacular in SF, it warranted a police escort. And he’s from Queens, too!
