Glad the Mets won and Glavine is a great pitcher. But somehow I still take more pleasure in Tom Seaver’s 300th win ruining “Phil Rizzuto Day” at Yankee stadium. The sight of the “Holy Cow” knocking over Scooter was hilarious. Seriously though, let’s all hope Rizzuto is doing well. Not being at Yankee Stadium for Old Timers Day must mean he is in poor health. I still have guest broadcaster Lindsey Nelson’s description “Now Seaver is so excited he is speaking in a voice only dogs can hear!” in my ears.
