There’s a 30 percent chance of rain for tonight. It’s hot and overcast now. It sure looks like it wants to rain.
Should we get bagged, Tom Glavine’s next start would be Tuesday against Atlanta.
“It would make for an interesting change of plans,’’ Glavine said.

John,
Assuming they play tonight, do you think there is any chance they pitch Maine Wednesday on three days rest considering he’s only thrown 60 pitches each of his last two times out? They could push Lawrence back until the weekend and give them a better shot vs. Smoltz.

To JL: Not Wednesday, but Thursday. They will move Orlando Hernandez up a day to Wednesday, Maine to Thursday and Lawrence on Friday.-JD
Why move El Duque up?
I thought the plan was always to give him a bit more rest every once in a while?
