Carlos Zambrano is done. He leaves after giving up a home run to Ramon Castro. Orlando Hernandez is certainly on today. Just two hits given up. He’s 8-4 with a win today.
Before the season, I think you realistically would have had to figure Hernandez for 10 to 12 wins.
The Cubs just said Zambrano left the game with heat-related cramping.

Duque has been a godsend since he got here (other than the injuries)...who woulda thunk it?
Duque’s been flat out great. Look at his ERA. It doesn’t seem like a fluke anymore. Wonder what was wrong with him in Zona.
It was a great pickup by Omar last year. It was a small trade that has reaped big benefits.
I also want to give a shout out to Ms. Claus. Without her help we would not have 40% of our starting pitching today.

And Carlos “Rah Rah” Zambrano conveniently had menstrual cramps or whatever right after Castro’s jack. Yeah, pump that fist now, pal. If you ever get tired of seeing Reyes’ dance or Milledge’s antics, just have a gander at Zambrano after he K’s someone for the third out with runners on base…you’d think it was bot 9th, Gm 7.
