Greetings from the most cramped place on Earth, the Wrigley Field clubhouse.
Long and narrow. From toe to heel, 20 steps from side to side. Damion Easley says the long way is maybe the distance from home to first. Maybe.
The place is held up by two support posts. There’s a long table in the middle with a TV on each post.
The clubhouse manager is an avid fisherman. There’s a small poster between the lockers of Tom Nieto and Jerry Manuel listing each major league team and with it the best type of fishing.
Chicago, of course, has Lake Michigan. It says you can get striped bass by the Brooklyn Bridge. Also, they are supposedly biting by the Statue of Liberty.
