Post-Game Wrap: Game #107: Mets 8, Milwaukee 5
-
- August
- 2
ANALYSIS
The big thing for me was Oliver Perez. Nice to get the three-run homers from unexpected sources, but Perez giving up five runs in the first two innings and settling down was important.
NOTEBOOK
-Jorge Sosa is out of the rotation and in the bullpen. It was a matter of time.
-Paul Lo Duca is still day-to-day. Maybe this weekend.
-Sandy Alomar and Jon Adkins cleared waivers and were outrighted to New Orleans.
-Pedro Martinez’s rehad start was rained out. He’ll throw a simulated game this morning.
LOOKING AHEAD
Brian Lawrence (8-2 at Triple-A New Orleans) will start tomorrow in place of Sosa.
