  1. Blastings

Sigh….. another day with Paul Lo Duca hitting sixth. On a positive note, Lastings moved ahead of Green. Willie must be wavering.

  2. JR

I better get a sweater…apparently hell has frozen over!

  3. Mike C.

At this moment, if Alou and Beltran were both healthy, I'd go…

    Reyes
    Milledge
    Beltran
    Wright
    Delgado
    Alou
    Gotay
    LoDuca
    (pitcher)

...and I'd be pretty happy with that line-up.

Maybe flip Alou and Delgado if Alou started hitting well, maybe flip Milledge and Gotay if Gotay was hitting better than Lastings…

But this whole "Green's a starter/LoDuca's in there for his bat" thing is getting kinda old no matter who else is on the field.

Of course, I'd give Beltran a coupla starts at a corner and let Milledge get more CF time, see if it helps Beltran's health but… again… I'm crazy.

  4. GD

i'm gonna go pee on my hands to celebrate. -Johnny, sorry I missed you in LA, I didn't feel like fighting my way up to the press box, way too hot that weekend!

  5. Mel

Green in the 8 hole 2 days in a row. He's on double warning that no hitting will mean the bench when Beltran returns, and if, Alou stays off crutches.

Sorry Steve C. We know you love Green but there's still Greeny on Mike and Mike in the morning.
