Tom Glavine is out of the game. He gave up six runs on 10 hits in two-plus innings. I don’t know, maybe this time it was nerves. He’ll be asked that, no question.
Who knows, maybe the six runs in the first wasn’t a good thing. Maybe it caused him to let up just a little.
Then again, maybe it is as simple as he just stunk out the place tonight.

so whos in line to get the win then?

Someone needs to tell David Wright that these throwing errors are getting old. He isn’t playing on a rookie contract anymore, he needs to play like it. If he’s going to play like that on D he needs to hit like A-Rod.
....great it just cost us a run.
The Mets will hold on and win by a field goal.
Yeah, that error by Wright was unfortunate and he seem to still have problems with his throws. However, it’s hard to really get on him considering that he’s improved his defense immensely since his rookie year. Currently his zone rating is among tops in the majors for third basemen.
JK,
His zone coverage is fantastic…it’s the throws when he has plenty of time which are pissing me off. First year or so in the league I understand, but he is doing it way too much after being up in the Bigs this long.
BH, I think that might be a problem with him for a long time. He just doesn’t have the most accurate arm. As long as he’s improved other aspects of his fielding, that’s a positive. In his defense, Delgado didn’t exactly make a good pickup of that ball tonight. I think a better first baseman would have gotten that. Certainly Keith. Wright just hasn’t had great first basement saving his throws since he’s been with the Mets, except for a short time when Mienkiewiez was there.
