That’s what the Mets are saying, and maybe there’s a degree of truth to those comments. But, here’s something else to consider: Maybe this is as good as it gets for the Mets’ offense this year. Maybe they aren’t going to get any better with their clutch hitting.
You have to consider all the possibilities, you know. Especially, since there haven’t been any real signs of a breakout.
