Like: Lastings at #2.
Don’t like: Valentin. Against the left-hander, Easley should be in there.
I don’t like Valentin in the game either. Gotay deserves to play but if you want to platoon Easley deserves a start over Valentin. Valentin has been horrid since coming back. Trying to give a guy 400 plate appearances is bad baseball.
Gimp should be a full-time off the bench guy. Gotay plays well so how does Randolph reward him? And I think this left/righty crap is just that: crap.
You have to hit pitchers no matter which arm they throw with and it’s another reason why Randolph is a mediocre manager.
