Orlando Hernandez just walked Todd Helton with the bases loaded, which considering how he’s throwing tonight might not have been a bad thing. However, Jose Reyes’ throw was – two runs came in.
Hernandez has already walked six which ties a career high.
Down three in this park isn’t much, and there’s a lot of game left. Just probably not for Hernandez, who has 105 pitches through four.

ive finally come to the realisation that the mets are a mediocre team. Capable of greatness, but just as equally capable of crappy baseball.
throw in the fact that this maybe one of the most overated offenses in baseball.
valentin rarely drives the ball with authority. Green is still living off his awesome april, after that hes been mediocre at best,i mean 27 rbi’s from our right fielder is bad. Delgado? good luck guessing what youre gonna get from him night to night. I wouldnt trust loduca to drive in a run if my life depended on it. Im leaving out other guys, but this is just off the top of my head.
This team needs to get a little younger. Just too many chances with delcine and injuries. Im not saying rebuild with rookies, but guys under 35 would be nice.
oh and our pitching is crazy streaky. When its good, its really really good, when its bad,its brutal. rarely any middle ground with starters and bullpen
This is frightening. We just got murdered by the Rockies.
