Jorge Sosa is done for the day, and likely for awhile after that. He just left the game with a strained left hammy while running the bases in the sixth.
I’m no doctor, and I don’t play one on TV, but it doesn’t look good. Hamstring injuries are always tough, especially for pitchers. Looks like we’ll be seeing Mike Pelfrey again soon.
Sosa gave up three runs on four hits in five innings and is the pitcher of record.

holy moly!
beltran is on a tear!
funny how things have a way of working themselves out…a spot opening up for pelfrey…
And to think if he’d put down a half decent bunt he would have been trotting to first on the sacrifice.
Any word on how close Dave Williams is to being back? He wasn’t too bad for us last year.
To BH (RE: Sosa)
It really is strange how that works out, doesn’t it? So Twilight Zonish.

To NYM (RE: Who’s Next?)
Dave Williams has only made two rehab starts. He’s not ready. It will be Pelfrey.
the only thing id be curious with pelfrey coming up is hed be on 10 days’ rest if he threw in the 2nd game of the COL series
